Editing a question allows changing its static attributes: the summary and custom fields.
Usage
In many cases customers do not formulate adequate question summaries and fields values, which are often used for classification purposes according to your business rules. Because of this, questions may need subject lines correction and custom fields’ values adjustment in order to comply with your conventions.
Questions can only be edited individually.
Procedure
Access the question’s detail view page and press the Edit button.
In the question edit page, you can view the complete question history and change the values of:
- Question’s Summary in the Summary field (may not be left blank);
- Question custom fields (according to custom field settings).
To save your changes, press the Submit button.
Automatic email notifications are generated according to notification settings when applicable.
