Promoting Ideas

Definition

CRMdesk customers may vote for Knowledge Base ideas that they find interesting or useful by promoting ideas. When a new idea is created, its score is set to 10 (technically, each new idea is promoted automatically by its author). When the idea is promoted by a new user, its score is increased by 10 points.

The ‘Score’ value of an idea record allows you to see how popular the idea is among CRMdesk users. Ideas having the highest score may be taken into account to improve the quality of supported products or services.

Usage

Support staff users in the CRMdesk support interface may also promote ideas that were posted by other users.

Procedure

To promote a Knowledge Base idea that has been posted by another CRMdesk user, in the list of ideas choose the required one and click its subject to open idea details view page. On the details page, click the Promote button.
