Deleting KB Records

Definition

Deleting a Knowledge Base record means permanently destroying it in the CRMdesk database. Deleted records cannot be restored.

Usage

Knowledge Base records are deleted when their content is not expected to be of any use in future. CRMdesk support users may delete forum topics and ideas that duplicate each other to some extent or that do not relate to the area of supported products and services. In some cases, it may also be required to delete outdated FAQs or records that according to curomers’ feedback are of no use.

Knowledge Base records may be deleted individually or collectively.

Procedure

Select the FAQ, discussion topic or an idea in the list and click the Delete button or access the Knowledge Base record details view page and click the Delete button.
